The goal is to pick the matchups that will be listed. Players will get 1 point for predicting the outcome of the matchup. A player that correctly predicts all listed matchups will win a bonus 5 points. For the College Playoff, and all other other Bowl Games, the points for predicting the correct result will triple.

Predictions will lock one hour before a games start (EST) (so if a game starts at 8:30 EST on a Saturday evening, then it will lock at 7:30 EST)

Week 1

Thursday August 27

Texas A&M at South Carolina (game locks at 5:00 PM EST)

Boise State at Ole Miss (game locks at 7:00 PM EST)

Rutgers at Washington State (game locks at 9:00 PM EST)

Friday August 28

Colorado State at Colorado (game locks at 8:00 PM EST)

UNLV at Arizona (game locks at 9:30 PM EST)

Saturday August 29

UCLA at Virginia (game locks at 11:00 AM EST)

Ohio State at Navy (game locks at 11:00 AM EST)

Cal at Northwestern (game locks at 2:30 PM EST)

West Virginia at Alabama (game locks at 2:30 PM EST)

Arkansas at Auburn (game locks at 3:00 PM EST)

Clemson at Georgia (game locks at 4:30 PM EST)

Florida State at Oklahoma State (locks at 7:00 PM EST)

Wisconsin at LSU (locks at 9:00 PM EST)

Sunday August 31

SMU at Baylor (game locks at 6:30 PM EST)

Monday September 1

Miami (FL) at Louisville (locks 7:00 PM EST)

If there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask, otherwise happy picking!

This looks really fun!  I tried to do this a couple years ago doing an AP Top 25 Pick 'Em of sorts, but it never gained traction.  I hope you have more luck.

Here are my picks:

Mississippi Rebels
Washington State Cougars

Colorado State Rams
Arizona Wildcats

UCLA Bruins
Ohio State Buckeyes
Northwestern Wildcats
Alabama Crimson Tide
Auburn Tigers

South Carolina better get their act together in the second half, otherwise we will all start 0-1...

Not quite, Simfan  took Texas A&M (which may mean he knows something we don't here)

I didn't count him because of all the "No Good" picks.

Looks like I was wrong about Texas A&M, whom I had picked to come in 6th in the SEC West, but we'll see.

I'm only counting the ones he actually picked.

There's still 30 minutes of football tonight, but Kenny Hill looks like he will be an able successor to Johnny Manziel.

End of 3rd qtr - A&M 45, SC 28.  SC is trying to claw their way back into this, but that pick late in the 3rd didn't help any.

In game #2 tonight, Ole Miss leads Boise State 7-3, with about six minutes to go in the first half.

It would be pretty amazing if Boise State could pull this out.

Scores after Day 1;  (Players listed in Alphabetical Order)

BUSH; 1-2

DEAD0 1-2

DERE 0-3

GASS 1-2

HARRY 1-2

NYE 2-1

SIM 1-0

XAHAR 1-2

Looks like most of us whiffed on the South Carolina/Texas A&M game and the Washington State/Rutgers game... but there's still time this weekend to correct the embarrassment. The next scoreboard update should be sometime Sunday.

So far, I am 3-1 on the day, probably will be 4-1 after Auburn finally takes care of Arkansas (game is in a weather delay).  That will be 7-3 so far in the week.  Georgia is currently leading, albeit only by a field goal late in the third quarter.  Florida State should take care of business, though I would love to be wrong on that one.  Wisconsin vs. LSU should be entertaining.  Not a bad showing to start the season.
