Earth!

To study, though, I would have to say one of the outer gas giants. In the atmospheres of some of those planets it's probably raining diamonds. There are at least the required pressure and chemical processes present to make that happen.

Earth, because you can observe life here and breathe freely.

If Pluto was included, it would be winning by a mile.

Earth is probably the best to live on. In 20.000 years, Mars could be the alternative for those, who want a cooler climate. ;-)

If Pluto was included, it would be winning by a mile.

If Pluto was included then all of the other known similar objects would have to be on the list as well: Ceres, Eris, Makemake, and Haumea. Maybe Sedna, and 2012 VP113 should be there too, when the IAU gets around to officially classifying them. If the vote is about sentimentality, I would be more partial to Ceres than Pluto since it was the first planet to be discovered then demoted years later.

There are four on the poll, which did you prefer?

Or only two depending on which definition of "gas giant" one uses.

I find Mars easily the most interesting, other than Earth. If you through in moons, then maybe not.

Perfect, I'm reading this as I look at the framed 18x24 photograph of Saturn on the wall across from me over my TV.

Didn't we have this thread at least once before?  That poll offered Pluto and that's how I voted.  I also mentioned pluto in a poll of my own several years ago.  Since this one doesn't mention Pluto, I'm a bit rudderless.  I'll vote for Earth just to throw some support to the local team.
