Unfortunately, Mitt Romney has yet to be forgotten. But Dukakis (sane).

Romney...Dukakis is too far left (unfortunately) for this climate and probably even more robotic than Romney.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Dukakis loss looked like '72 or '84 at the worst.

At least Romney would've gotten the "raped and murdered" question right.

At least Romney would've gotten the "raped and murdered" question right.

Ha, I saw that, people made a big deal about crime issues in the 80's.

I can't vote because I really don't know much about Dukakis. But I far prefer him on a personal level.

To clear it up, I would vote for Dukakis personally by who they are now ('88 Dukakis vs '94 Senate challenger Romney would be a hard choice), I just don't think he'd have a chance.

Yea, Dukakis was pretty much the last Democratic nominee to embrace the Liberal label. For gods sakes, he was a card carrying member of the ACLU and did not shy away from some pretty left wing stuff that would never fly today sadly.

Although if you plug in the 1988 exit polls, with 2012 demographics, Dukakis wins.

Duke. One of the Presidential losers that really should have won the election in hindsight.
