I didn't say they were highly interesting.  But they could be salvaged from a thread that otherwise was to be wholly nuked.

Jesus dude, there has to be something other than the nuclear option......calm down.

The Republicans made it necessary to use it.

And giving me... 25 points?

Torn between paying down the mortgage or an S&P 500 index fund.

That's how this player rolls.

I'd buy a vacant lot and let Occupy Cincinnati use it.

I'd put it in my savings account (assuming it was $42,000 after taxes, otherwise I'd obviously pay the taxes on it first).

I'd put most of it into superannuation for retirement and leave a couple thousand in my savings account. I don't have any personal debt from credit cards or anything and my student loan debt is paid back through income tax and that doesn't accrue interest so there's no point in repaying it back immediately.

Edit: Maybe I'd spend a few hundred of it buying new clothes.

You'd only need about $42 to find a sufficiently large lot to accomodate Occupy Cincinnati.

Not all of those, not even a majority of those points you have, were from that.

Paying off my student loans would be the answer, but that seems rather pedestrian for this thread. In that case, I would probably get my house fixed up.
