If Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin surprisingly runs for president in 2016, and she surprisingly is nominated by Republicans and faces former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who would win? Discuss with maps.

Would be about a 10% margin knockout in the PV

This, except I might add AR, GA and MT to Clinton's column.

Fallin may have baggage with her children and her divorce.

I really don't think that's a subject Clinton would want to bring up too much. I see personal family matters being ignored in a Fallin/Clinton matchup. After all, with an opponent like Fallin, it's not like Clinton would find it necessary to desperately go on the attack.

All maps waaaay too generous to Fallin. She's unpopular and endangered in Oklahoma for crying out loud, she would be lucky to win 10 states.

I'm not even trying to start an argument anymore ... I'll be fascinated to see how a Hillary candidacy will bring back or fail to bring back AR/WV/KY Democrats ... I assume it'll be somewhere in the middle of what everyone thinks.

385-153, Hillary gets around 54-55% of the PV.

Haha, a woman who cheated on her husband vs. a woman who got cheated on by her husband.  The smear attacks and innuendo write themselves.

I'm no Hillary fan, but Fallin wouldn't have a chance.

Clinton would win easily.

Also, who would their running mates be?

I guess Hillary Clinton/Mark Warner and Mary Fallin/Ben Carson.

I do agree that it would be a landslide victory for Hillary Clinton. Mary Fallin might even struggle to hit 55% of the vote in Oklahoma.

I see Fallin picking a senator, maybe Thune or a Portman, maybe another governor; but if Fallin does so horrible in the polls, who would want to run with her?

Not to sound hackish, but easily Hillary with a 2008-like map.

Saying Hillary would ONLY beat Fallin with a 2008-esque map actually sounds a bit Republican hackish. Tongue

The lady can't even manage a double digit lead in Oklahoma.

I think that Rick Santorum, Allen West, Ted Cruz, Steve King and Louie Gohmert in addition to Ben Carson would be some of the only people that would want to be Mary Fallin's running-mate.

There's nothing wrong with this thread. It's discussion.
