Yes, at work.  We use it for our daily work log, inventory....pretty much anything involving "lists", so like, everything.  The first two things I open on my computer at work is Outlook (only place I can get my work email) and Excel, to see what's been going on.

It's a fine program, perhaps a bit bloated (understatement of the year), but it does what it's supposed to do and does it well.

Oh god yes.  At any given time I'll have at least four unrelated spreadsheets open on my computer at home and at work.

No.  When I have need of a spreadsheet, I use Open Office.  If I needed to share formatted and/or macroed spreadsheets with random people, I'd probably use MS Excel simply because of compatibility concerns, but I don't so I don't.

pretty regularly for graphs and data tables and such.  It can be frustrating for data fitting and it's not really well designed for scientific work and I prefer SigmaPlot, or even Kaleidagraph, but since MSExcel is free and everyone has it, I use it because it's just easier to share stuff that way.

By far the most user-friendly spreadsheet software (barring open source clones), and good for cursory graphs and data storage. But none of its statistical analysis functions work, and others are coded weirdly (like LOOKUP between sheets). For data analysis (like econ work) you have to move on to SAS, R or Stata, or use them jointly.

Yeah, I have to because of my job.

It's Excel 2003, too.

Voted yes instictively, then I remembered that I almost always use OpenOffice Calc when I need a spreadsheet.

Yes, quite often. For personal use, for school, and when I worked on the campaign I used it nearly everyday for precinct and petition data.

Oh god yes.  At any given time I'll have at least four unrelated spreadsheets open on my computer at home and at work.

Yes, very much so, it's great for calculating values, particularly averages, and making charts.
