People need to investigate the meaning of the word utopia.

"Utopia" implies that life is perfect in both of these societies

Well given that under communism I wouldn't be a slave, I'm obviously going to choose communism.

communism became popular almost entirely because it sounds really nice as a utopian concept

The correct term for both would be dystopia.

People need to investigate the meaning of the word utopia.

HINT: It doesn't include a bunch of middle aged fat cats in top hats, monocles and canes smoking cigars or a bunch of scrappy looking guys (maybe some girls) wearing flannel, denim and hard hats drinking Vodka while they use giant log wrenches. ^^

If it's truly a utopia, everyone would have everything in the communist scenario. So why wouldn't I go with that?

In the utopian capitalist society, everyone would have everything, but some people would have more everything than others.

I almost think the communist world sounds better...

Hasn't history already established that Communism doesn't work for mankind? There can be no Communist utopia when it's very nature poisons society.
