Opinion of Minutemen groups

What is your opinion of Minutemen groups? Would you be surprised if they are elected to higher office such as the U.S. Senate and House?

I once had a high opinion of them, but now I view them as a disturbing group of wanna-be cops and George Zimmerman types. We need more security on the border, but we don't need these people.
