How do you pronounce "Nevada"?

Would you pronounce the state containing Chicago as 'Ee-lee-nwah' because that's how the French intended it?

Yeah.

And 'Dé-trwah' (lol, sort of), as well.

Though, I must say that Ee-lee-noissss, and Dee-troyt sound pretty cool.

As to Nevada, Né-vah-dah, indeed.
