Article.

Nunn (D)- 44.74%
Perdue (R)- 43.09%

Sigh, I'd feel better about this poll if the results didn't round to the hundreths decimal place. That said, the sample was fairly big, 1600 LVs.

Apparently WRBL is a CBS affiliate, if that means anything to anybody.

As for the poll, well, it shows what we already knew - it's tight.

A 1.65% lead is NOT dominating at all.

CBS is associated with those terrible YouGov polls we got a while back...

In any case, this poll is a departure from the last four non-landmark polls, which showed Perdue leads of 6-9 points. We'll have to see if other pollsters find this apparent sudden retightening of the race.

This poll showed Deal up, so it's not a Democratic hack poll, but the decimals and its affiliation with YouGov lead me to believe the whole thing is trash. Most likely, Carter is up by a few and Perdue is up by a few, not Deal up by a hair and Nunn up by a hair.

The telephone poll was conducted by GaPundit.com, whoever they are, not YouGov.  It's also a bit old - taken August 24-25.  At least it wasn't taken over Labor Day weekend, which truly would belong in the junk pile.

She's still a ways off from fifty percent, though, and I don't expect her to win a runoff.

Nice.

Never heard of the pollster "GAPundits" though.

Hopefully GA and KY will remain winnable until Nov.

Why don't you just read 1) the OP or 2) the replies to it (or 3) the 2012 threads about polls and republicans doing what you claim democrats are doing) before hinting that democrats only likes polls when they favor them? It's annoying, really.

I support Perdue (BTW I was a bit more liberal when I entered this forum, but I've drifted to the right since).

This is about the only poll since July that shows a close race by itself. All others have shown a moderate Perdue lead or a moderate Nunn lead. Weird race with weird polls.
