An utterly terrible poster who apparently believes that a single sacrificial lamb Democratic candidate is multiple people. HP.

He's fine, and he's right that random Republican comments get the same treatment.

Threads like this trashing posters in good standing per the terms of use of this site strike me as a form of bullying, or at least an attempt to gather folks up to gang up on someone. What is the point of doing this BRTD?

He makes maps, so he's better than 90% of posters here.

They do this all the time to other people. Seems a bit odd that they don't get chewed out for doing this to other members.

Anyway, he was a little annoying at first, but he won me over when we were both following the Hawaii Primaries. Not a bad guy.

FF, I greatly enjoyed his analysis of the 2008 Alaska Senate, House, and Presidential elections over on RRH.

He was entirely in the right in that last post IMO. If a random Republican no-hoper had said that Obama was worse than Kim Jong Il, there would be at least some crowing from the red brigade.

If any of them had said "Keep it classy Republicans!" using the plural thus referring to more than one Republican, they'd be just as wrong.

Every so often, the topic comes up whether the forum is biased against Republicans in more than just a numerical sense. I think the answer depends on the type of poster.

Intelligent conservative posters who adopt a friendly, conciliatory tone or are ideologically heterodox (not necessarily both) are generally pretty well treated. On the flip side, obvious trolls or dumb posters are generally recognized as such on the D side. But posters who are well-informed, articulate, and at the same time stridently partisan and aggressive often get much more criticism when they are Republican than they are Democratic.
