I'm going to feel bad for the UK if it's 2014 and they're still losing territory.

What say you?

Personally, I have to say no.  I have Scottish ancestry and this is a very personal thing to me, and after some thinking, I've come to the conclusion that Scotland is better off with the UK right now, given the situation in the world.
The fact that your great-great-grandfather was born in Scotland doesn't make this any more relevant to you than to anyone else in America.
Close.  My great-great grandmother was born in Scotland.  My great-great grandfather, though he had a Scottish surname, was born in Canada and was primarily of Irish ancestry.

Have you ever been to Scotland? Ever eaten haggis? Ever play the bagpipes? Ever wear a kilt?
