Could really go either way I think it will be decided by a couple thousand votes and there will likely be a recount as well.

I've been saying Walker very close for a long time, but I feel like the momentum is with Burke. I'm going with Burke.

Looks like Burke is gonna win, based on everything I've seen.

Marquette is the gold standard of WI polling.

I'm starting to get worried. Ugh this is going to be unbearable if Burke wins. At least the legislature will prevent us from being completely at the mercy of the Democrats.

I think Walker will win. But I may be trying to keep my expectations low to prevent disappointment.

Walker won twice with around 53%. He is going to win this time again, I'm afraid. Perhaps with a norrower margin such as 51-48 or so.

Tilt Walker, but the race is tightening. I don't think I'd be surprised if Burke won. If that happens, kiss Walker's ambitions good bye.

Did being brutally beaten cause Santorum not to do oddly well in the primaries?

Santorum was the last opposition candidate to Romney. If he weren't, he would've continued to be irrelevant. I'd say the same is possible for Walker, but his chances of being a frontrunner ever would be cleared.

What's the reason for the shift in momentum in this race? Is it primarily because of the emails? I've been under the impression that Walker is so polarizing that even scandals like that won't really budge him in the polls at this point.

It just appears democrats are more enthusiastic, right now, to go to vote (Burke leading among Likely voters, but trailing among RV).
And, there are indeed few "swing voters" in Wisconsin, this is indeed a polarizing state. But it appears she's improving among the independent.
