No, it won't hurt her.  Anyone who would be bothered enough for it to decide their vote likely wasn't ever going to vote for her anyway.

Nothing, but it's a dirty word to a lot of Americans which I've already articulated.

It's fine to be classical feminist, but if she tries to appeal to modern day/Tumbler Feminists her hopes of winning a general election are over

Somehow I doubt that Hillary's goal is to appeal to a fringe group that's almost non-existent outside of the Internet

I was saying that being a feminist, like any other ideology, is fine as long as you don't go into extremes

The Republicans have a severe problem with women voters because so many Republicans have come out with absolutely toxic views on women and womens' rights ("legitimate rape" and "grey rape", to use but two examples).

Any of the plausible candidates for the Republicans in 2016 cannot fix this as they need to pander to the hard right to win the primaries.

They are caught between the Tea Party and the voters.

The term is a bit tainted by the radicals.

Then there were the groups that suggested that lesbians were the only true feminists.

It'll increase the enthusiasm of certain supporters (such as myself) but I'm pretty skeptical that it'll be a net positive.
