Yes she was. Dad was 16. She always jokes "where was 16 and Pregnant when I had you?!?!"

I used to be ashamed of it, but then I realized that my parents (who just celebrated 20 years of marriage) are way better than most and now I'm not embarassd at all at how old they were.

In fact, the governor I was born under was elected like... 9 months after she was born. Isn't that crazy?

Yeah, I have no problem with it at all, I'm just surprised. To compare, my mother was 40 when she had me.
