Have we resumed debate, or what? This is very confusing.

We have, we're just waiting on Deus to offer an amendment to move forward.

To reiterate, I am willing to water down this amendment if it is too extreme for some. I just don't think this bill will be very effective if people have to search up the specific name of each regulation in order to propose it for repeal.

Alright, is everyone OK with this? I don't want this to go to a final vote and then fail because people think it's too extreme but don't speak up.

I am sorry to not have said something to this before, but I guess "category of regulation" is quite a vague term that could have had not wanted side-effects. What is a category of regulation anyway? I guess we have a more or less concrete term with regulation, something that is workable with in a way; but what is a category of regulation? For example one could say "every regulation dealing with labor issues" is a category of regulation, who says which regulation deals with labor issues. That could prove disastrous before the courts should we come to the point of voting on "every regulation dealing with labor issues". Now that I think of it, I really don't know if there is a point of this bill in general. I mean, who can deliver this one exact regulation (for the first version of the bill) anyway? And I don't want to start with "category of regulation"...

If you are uncomfortable with giving the Senate the power to repeal labor regulations in the manner in this bill prescribes I'm fine with that, just introduce an amendment.

Anyway, the point of this is just to create a comprehensive thread where we can easily discuss and vote on regulatory matters. If this is unsuccessful I will probably just introduce a bunch of deregulation bills and we'll discuss all of them separately.

That sounds oddly threatening, lol.
