Would have an easy time governing due his knowlege of congressional races, and would be able to strike compromises without caving on his own ideals. I'd imagine a Sawx administration would be Barack Obama's views (though more populist on the whole) with Hillary Clinton's savvy.

Would advocate for an isolationist foreign policy and decriminalizing marijuana and other drugs.  A strange combination of policies based on those of Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul.

Would spend his time offending southerners with his hatred of them, and offending african americans by demanding they vote for him. Would pass universal healthcare and an expansion of farm subsidies, but claim to be a conservative.

Probably something similar to what Cuomo is doing in NY. He'd probably take a more moderate to conservative approach to economics, with a lot of tax cuts and the like. But he'd be pretty chill on social policy with more liberal actions.

Something to the effect of Bill Clinton, if not a bit more partisan. Nothing major. Decent at worst.

Actually I am an isolationist in terms of things like that. But for you, basically President Franken is the best way I can describe it.

I'm imagining the social rhetoric and symbolism of George W. Bush, combined with populist economics, though much more moderate in practice.

Chaos... corruption ...

I can see a bit of the GW Bush bluster, with the informality of Clinton. Generally hands off on social issues, but being a strong defender of 'religious liberty' and being a bit of an economic dry.

Further to the left than Obama, especially on foreign policy.

I'd have expected the opposite.

Overall similar to LBJ's presidency, except without a horrifically bad foreign policy.

Probably a bit chaotic - I think people would look on the administration as a good one, but I think it would be marked by a difficult relationship with congress. It would be an overall progressive administration, but not sure how much it would deliver.

More or less. Add support for single payer and clean energy but overall fiscal conservatism

Polnut: A true democracy for and by The People. Corruption would be minimized, and all would run very efficiently. Center-left for sure, but definitely not a true leftist administration.

FreedomHawk: George Bush mixed with liberal social views.
