Considering the last few polls of this race (Coakley up from 21-32 points) she underperformed pretty drastically. Oh well, on to November when she can finally earn her redemption!

This is Coakley, she is a master of losing as a Democrat in Massachusetts.

I'm pretty sure Coakley has only ever lost one election in Massachusetts. She'll win easily in November.

I wouldn't been SO confident. She is only a slight favorite right now....

Do I wish Grossman had won? Yes. Do I actually disagree with Coakley on much of anything? No.

I hope she wins in November, but I have my doubts.

I would love to be sanguine about this but Massachusetts voters have been plenty willing to elect a Republican for governor. I am not confident Coakley will win; she certainly will not win by default because she's a Democrat.

Looking at the numbers, it's amazing how well Berwick did.

I'm not so confident, but I do think he has a legit shot and it's going to be a close race. Baker is a
better campaigner than he was in 2010, and Coakley is certainly not a good campaigner which I think many Democrats would admit. That could make a difference in a close race.

Coakley's awful, but it'd be next to impossible to be worse than Grossman.
