http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/11/palin-family-brawl_n_5805816.html

Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, “Don’t you know who I am!” And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, “This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!” No, it’s what happens when the former First Family of Alaska comes knocking. As people were leaving in a cab, Track was seen on the street, shirtless, flipping people off, with Sarah right behind him, and Todd somewhere in the foreground, tending to his bloody nose.

I'm scared.

I really don't think this is real. Maybe I don't want to believe it.

My side officially hurts. It was an unwritten rule in my hometown that if you showed up to prom/homecoming/etc in a stretch Hummer/Navigator instead of a traditional limo, you were probably White Trash With Money.

Sounds like a typical weekend at a snowmobiling club.

That's "snow machine" in Alaskan.

I really don't think this is real. Maybe I don't want to believe it.

My problem here is that this is precisely what I expect from Palin and her family, but when someone tell me that someone live completely up to the ridiculous stereotype I have of them in my head, I begin to doubt it can be true, because no one of the people we don't like are as ridiculous as we like to imagine them.

Just a few percentage points and a McCain heart attack away from the doomsday button?

And the same for those of us who voted for John Edwards for the same office, am I right?

Keeping a mistress is par for the course for men in positions of authority and has been since the beginning of time. Even having an illegitimate child is, as Strom Thurmond would attest.

But public drunken shouting matches and brawls at lower-class sporting events? Yes, that most certainly is beneath the dignity of the office of vice president.

John Edwards did a little more than just keeping a mistress.
