If you put stock in one approval rating poll more than two years from the actual election, positive or negative, I disapprove of your understanding of electoral politics.

She's not visible. So what do you expect?

Sadly, she can easily still win handily with that approval.  She'll surely lose more than 41% of the vote.

Straw man

Except that lack of visibility was what kept her approvals artificially high in the first place.

What's the straw man argument that I'm making?  People seem to be paying attention to meaningless polls.  My point is that paying attention to this is pointless.  Maybe you disagree, but what I said is not a straw man.

Remember when she was the anointed one in 2007?  The more people see her, the more they dislike her.  It's an intangible quality she has.  She's not Bill.

With that said, she's not beating Rand Paul in the general if both make it that far.

Sorry, but I changed the subject line from "approval" to "favorable", because it's a pet peeve of mine when people mix the two up.

Pretty sure most presidential candidates, especially in the current era of politics, would kill for these numbers.

Not really. Most of her fall has been among Republicans and right wing Independents, which everyone already knew wasn't going to be maintained anyway. She's still as popular as ever in the 85-90% range with Democrats.

Of course this is assuming you meant hope for her to lose the primary, as opposed to hope she loses to Ted Cruz or Mitt Romney. But...

How many other candidates for 2016 have an favorable rating above 50%?

None. In fact, even putting aside 50%, Hillary is the only candidate that is consistently on positive ground. Everyone else is in the negative, as poll after poll shows. Very impressive for her.

I wouldn't call it impressive, I mean, to be at 43% isn't great, though she is leading everyone else.

Well, voters hate everyone right now. So I'd say to be on positive ground despite this is impressive.

(And this 43% poll is obviously an outlier. The aggregate posted earlier shows her at 48-42).

Let's also remember that this poll uses CNN's joke LV screen.

Her large drop in favorability is proof that no matter how badly liberals on this forum may wish it, Hillary is not Bill, she's not very likable and is a poor campaigner. If she runs she will have a much harder time winning the election than the icespears on this would like to believe

An NBC/WSJ poll uses CNN's voter screen?

Except she's still crushing all your joke candidates easily, so what does that say about them?

Look at the trends and name recognition of the candidates then get over your delusions
