The Attorney General role has no basis in any other region. It's another office, hogging up the already reeling IDS, and I think it's removal is needed for our return to being the best region in the game.

Well, I just want to point out the general malaise on the IDS judicial front; it would be nice if we could think of extra duties for the magistrate to handle.

What do you have in mind? Voting booths like in the Northeast?

What does the IDS AG do? The only way I see it as needed is if there's a regional issue that comes up, but that's few and far between. I suppose eliminating the office.

I don't have any specific proposals; maybe we need to start pumping out constitutionally shaky laws here in the legislature Tongue

I'd approve going back to the older system of only appointing a Defender of the Realm if necessary to defend the region.

Yea that system did work rather well back in the day. Though of course we kind of conspired to put it to use. Wink

That is, essentially, what this amendment would do.

Seeing no further debate, I bring this bill to a final vote. Legislators have 48 hours to vote aye, nay or to abstain.
