Spectacular news! The True Leftists and Tea Party will soon be in for a good thrashing as they are crushed under Hillary's high heel!

How did I know that it would be IceSpear to bring this up? Maybe she just likes steak.

Clinton will likely announce, if she does announce, sometime in February or March.  If she's not in by April Fools Day I'll start assuming she's not running.  Until that day, I'm just taking it for granted that she will.

Did anyone doubt for a second that she is running? All of her actions this year make it a certain bet that she will.

I'd actually expect her to announce earlier if she DOESN'T run, since it'll give Dems more time to adjust and unfreeze the field.

When they actually debate, it will be different.  Hillary is a warmonger who hates civil liberties (PATRIOT Act, NSA surveillance, etc.)  That's not popular anymore.

Hillary will obviously crush Rand. Anyone who thinks otherwise knows nothing about politics and should shut up.

At this point, only Hillary Clinton can beat Hillary Clinton. Luckily, she has a lot of experience doing so.

Anyone who thinks this but is only able to justify this with polls taken two years before the election, two years before anyone began campaigning, and two years before anyone has even announced, obviously knows nothing about politics and should shut up.

Research Rand Paul, his beliefs and statements, and get back to me, bro.

What foreign policy? He doesn't actually have a policy...

Is this a surprise to anyone? It's pretty obvious and I wouldn't be surprised if she announced her candidacy the day after the midterms.

Clinton can easily take out Paul by just the Civil Rights thing, and as for civil liberties...the stances may alienate a few people, but the delegates and electors absolutely love that sh**t.

Nonetheless, I can't help but have a sinking feeling that we're just gonna get an Al Gore effect where the moderates, centrists, and pragmatic left are all taken in, but the media and wingnuts develop a hate-boner and start instantly giving the GOP candidate the benefit of the doubt even when said candidate is pretty much meritless in every way possible (as had happened with Dubya).

If that's all Hillary can get on Paul, she'll get demolished, especially since he already has, and could easily explain his stance once again.  When the debate turns to foreign policy and civil liberties, Rand would put Hillary's political career and the potential-Clinton Dynasty out of its misery.

Well, the media does inexplicably despise Hillary (see the dead broke saga which would be a two day story for anyone else, but they made into like a two month one for her), but it doesn't seem they're too fond of any of the prospective GOPers either, so it could be a wash.
