I took some Nyquil about 2015 this evening, so we'll see how long it is before it knocks me out.  I would like to stay up and finish the Royals vs. Angels game, but that's not a priority or a must by any means.

Good, it shows you are serious. Getting the job is one thing though, you have to work on keeping it. There are a few people here who have given you good advice.  Good luck.

I did look it over. There's nothing concerning about the company itself, and they do indeed have a position that they call "Entry Level AutoCAD Drafter." I think some key questions to ask during the interview should be around on-the-job training and mentoring, given the last experience with a CADD position.

The company seems well-put-together enough that I really doubt you'll be in a position to hide, clock-watch, etc. And, I hope you really did learn from the last experience: there are training materials available all over the place online, and you'll need to access those and actually embrace them if you plan to make this a true career.

I hadn't thought about asking about on-the-job training or mentoring.  I was going to go with "what does success for this position look like in 90 days" and "what are the visions of this company over, say, the rest of the decade?"  I will add your question to the mix, as it is very relevant.

That they have open positions and are trying to fill them. I wouldn't interpret that as walking out tomorrow with an offer.

The only thing that got in poor Dexter's way was the inability to say the password to his laboratory.  As far as I know, Bushie does not have a secret lab underneath the train room, so he should really hop on this gravy train.

Bushie, Good luck.  Been a bit busy the couple days so only got a chance to look over things briefly.  Company seems legit, and the job seems like it has potential, I'm not sure if it will provide the training you seem to need, but its certainly worth a shot if you get the call.

It's nice that Bushie now sends job listings to Update fans for confirmation that the ad is not an obvious scam. It shows that he has some capacity to learn from his mistakes.

So far, I haven't heard anything, but I'm still hopeful that I'll hear something either by 1700 today or sometime on Monday.  In the mean time, I will continue on with the job search as normal.
