Thank goodness. I, for one, was not looking forward to him locking Update every time he got questions he didn't like.

There's been a schism of the Update.

Will Eraserhead maintain control, or will Bushie's Avignon Papacy stubbornly persist?

Vote with your posts people. Just realize that as soon as things get intense/really interesting BushOklahoma will shut down his thread for a week.

My thread will be open for business 24/7.

This particular allegory doesn't work in your favour. Clearly Eraserhaed is the Avignon Pope and Bushie the original Roman Pope.

This is the anti-papacy and I fully support it.

I also support this real Update. The other title suggests imminent job loss, which is too much of a spoiler.

I was just kidding guys!  I'll update in this thread.

Anyway, I am awake for church this morning and can't wait to worship my God this morning.  I am also looking forward to Week 7 of work beginning in under 23 hours!

Science bless you, Eraser.

How was worship today, Bushie?  Corporate or limited liability?

Why not? It gives him a lil bit of pleasure.

Cmon Jeff, stay firm! You run your life and you run the show.
You have the keys of Sct. Peter and the see of Rome - the others are just a bunch of psycophants sucking up to the King of France. Death to the Update usurpers!

Agreed. One of the (very many) problems with the English dub of Sailor Moon was the opening sequence spoiling the entire first season.

For the first update of Season XVII, I will say that I did take nearly a 4 hour nap this afternoon.  It sure felt good.  I could have slept all night, but I wanted and needed to get up for the evening service at church starting at 1800.  Also, since I am working until 1700 tomorrow evening, the beginning of work night 30 is pushed from 1630 to 1700 tonight.  So, it begins in about 2 minutes.  Again, my plan is to work 0730-1700 for the first four days this week and that way I only have four hours to work on Friday.  The same will be repeated in Week 8 next week.

This thread approved as the only canon update

the fact that my quote was selected for this topic only had a minor impact on my judgement in reaching this decision

I speak as someone who cannot nap... but surely four hours is not a nap?

Plus, how the hell were you so tired from doing nothing that you could sleep for four hours on a Sunday?

Actually, last night for supper, I had a roast beef dinner with a baked potato, corn, ranch style beans, and a lettuce and cheese salad with no dressing and unsweetened iced tea.  I didn't have anything this morning and just had left over roast for lunch.  I don't know why I was so tired this afternoon, the only thing I did this morning was go to church for 3 hours, definitely not enough to get me all worn out.  Then again, for some reason I'm normally more tired on Sunday than the other six days.  Who knows.  I had a McDonald's cheeseburger this evening for dinner, but again no fries.

A McDonald's cheeseburger is such an unsatisfactory meal. It's not big enough to satisfy anybody over the age of 10, but is also loaded with refined carbs. I know I'm repeating myself, but I object to the superwhite fluff bun much more to the burger or the cheese, although they are not without their own nutritional problems. No actual food has the consistency of those buns, and I also hate the way they stick to the teeth and to the tongue. They're a total abomination. Did you really only eat one? It's not very much food, clocking in at only 300 calories according to google. Not much of a dinner.

I had a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese.  The menu says 750 calories.

Did you cook the roast beef and baked potato yourself?  Have you used your oven or stove yet?

Never mind. Complete dietary Armageddon.  Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last.  Have you no sense of decency?

I was at my grandmother's for a family dinner.  No, I have not used them, yet.
