Now that we're done with yet another diet storyline, it's time that Bushie find himself a new romantic interest. Alternatively, I would also accept a Halloween storyline (though I'm not sure if that holiday is legal in Oklahoma?).

He's not going to ever eat healthy because he doesn't know how and doesn't care to learn, so I hope he just eats what he wants and enjoys himself. It's all he knows. His family doesn't eat much better than he does anyway - he didn't get to be in such bad shape without learning it from somewhere.

The barrier Jeff needs to break through is using food as a reward system. He's had a hard day as he views it, and thinks he "deserves" a Big Mac as a reward for all of that sweat and toil (as he sees it - what you all see is irrelevant). Hi, guys, keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.  Things look grim, but there is an element of undeniable peace.  I can't disclose any more than that, but I will be staying with my folks until Sunday and will be back down again next weekend.  God knows all about it and He is in complete control.

Despite the sad news and my heart hurting right now, I am very excited about Week 8 at work.  My boss on Thursday said he's been finding a lot of encouraging signs with my progress and that we may have found something.  I still make boneheaded mistakes every now and then, Thursday being one of them, but overall he is much more pleased than he was just a couple weeks ago.  If I can just eliminate the mistakes, and I know what to do, I should have no trouble staying on past November 1.  I'm pleased and he seems to be pleased.

I know the writers enjoy irony but I think they're crossing the line if they have Grandma Bushie die the same week Bushie declared her as knowing more about being healthy than anyone here.
