Only one serving of dinner + dessert = very little appetite?

Instead of a second serving of dinner?  I wasn't even full when I finished eating.

I agree with Eraserhead. Bushie needs to drop these pie in the sky dreams of becoming a CADman and focus 100% on Wal-Mart assistant managery.

Hahaha.  If only he could take a step further and get on the dole, as I don't approve of helping the Waltons (although one wonders if hiring Bushie would "help").

Alas, I'm always willing to give 2nd chances.  Let's get behind Bushie in his 2nd real attempt at CADDing.  Certainly he's learned that this type of work takes practice.

One serving of dinner is considered everyday life for most people, not being ill.

Bushie, how often does dessert follow dinner?  Give me a percentage.

When Grandma fixes dinner? 100%.  When she doesn't fix dinner? 5%

Who cares about what is normal for most people.  What is normal for me is two servings of dinner plus dessert.  Having only one serving of dinner for me is not normal and thus is guaranteed lack of appetite.

One good thing about being sick is that it may help me shed a couple of pounds.  This evening, I only had one plate of the casserole, corn, and baked beans and only had a small piece of cake and one scoop of ice cream for dessert.  I just have very little appetite.
Nice trolling, buddy. Made my evening.

Well that explains a lot.

Goodness. Only one plate of all of that is a light meal for you? No wonder you're overweight! When I'm sick I eat chicken soup or something like that.

I drown myself in fruit juice and medicine, and eat next to nothing.  Oklahoma sure is wacky.

Yep. Two servings of dinner = twice the weight of a normal 5'7'' man.

Bushie's diet is definitely more frustrating to me than his job problem.  I imagine we've all done hard weight loss before, fasting to lose that pesky ten pounds, eating a light salad when we wanted more, hitting the gym when we weren't feeling up to it. That's hard work and easy to sympathize.

But all Bushie has to do to lose 120 lbs is eat like a normal person. He probably eats more on days when he "diets" than any of us to do unconsciously.  He talks about enjoying himself, but I don't think the height of me enjoying myself: college, pounding beers, getting taco bell at 3am, ever put away as many calories as he does on a daily basis.

Which is why being severely overweight and riddled with health problems is normal for you.

That one plate of food and one helping of dessert was the only solids I have had to eat all day.  I slept all morning, so I skipped breakfast and lunch, then I got me a 32 oz. Pepsi on my way to my parents just to keep me hydrated and I'm having a coke right now, but I haven't had very many calories today at all.  In all honesty, I probably should have had more.

32 oz Pepsi and Coke to keep you hydrated. You're trolling the inks out of me, friend.

Bushie's gotta be trolling us. A 32 oz pepsi "to keep hydrated"? No way.

I don't dare drink water on the road, especially on the turnpike where there are only two places to use the restroom.   Pepsi and/or Coke doesn't make me go to the bathroom as much as water.

There is nothing wrong in getting a Pepsi to drive home with.  True, it's not exactly the best way to hydrate, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

You're male. The world is your pissing ground.

There's a ton wrong with it Bushie. Hydration is about balance with water in your system. Pepsi has sugar, caffeine, and a little sodium, all of which de-hydrates you. But worst of all, it causes you to miss out on the joy of drinking a Coke/Pepsi. Fill up your thirst with 24 oz of water, and 8oz of Pepsi becomes a delightful tasting treat. Instead, your taste buds are completely numb. I bet you don't even know what Pepsi really tastes like.

That's scientifically impossible because Pepsi/Coke is basically water plus two diuretics (i.e. sugar and caffeine)

I guess it all depends on how my body wants to react at the time.  I will admit last week I bought a coke before I got on the interstate and still had to go to the bathroom at the turnpike rest area ~65 miles after where I bought the coke.  So, I will defer to science on this one.
