I have a plan.

1. Put the CAD/job business to rest.
2. Take out another student loan.
3. Get a Masters of Theological Studies from Oklahoma Christian University.
4. Knock it out of the park because you're actually passionate about it.
5. Move to North Carolina.
6. Enroll in the doctorate program at Duke.
7. Become a career academic.
8. Die with some respectability to your name and about the same amount of massive debt as you probably would've built up chasing scams on your parents dime anyway.

It might just be crazy enough to work.

forget all the education.  cant he just become a preacher at one of those hellfire and brimstone churches he goes to?

Or he could just walk in to Backwoods Baptist Church and watch the tithe money pour in. I still think Pentecostal style is a better fit for a man with Tourette's and would also give him disguised exercise, but I'm not going to try to convert him. Look how much fun these people are having while they burn calories:

Bushie, would you be willing to attend a church service like this?

Well, once he gets the Masters, I'm sure he can be a Professor at an unaccredited Bible College.

I made it back to Tulsa with my medicine.  That was one very wet drive.  My windshield wipers were on high for a solid 90 minutes both directions.  I'm going to a Men's Dinner and Bible Study at church tonight and then come home and watch Monday Night Football.

That would require good grades in undergrad, which Bushie probably did not get. He never answered my question about his grades/what classes he took. Looks like NWOSU only requires a 2.0 GPA to graduate.

I'll tell you one thing, the ribs were delicious!!  The Bible Study was even better.

Anyway, tomorrow, I should find out about the interview I had last Friday in Oklahoma City.  I also have a technical support interview in West Tulsa tomorrow at 1330.  I'm still on the lookout for a CAD job, but they are few and far between.  As I keep saying, I may have to go to a call center for a little while until a CAD job opens up.  The call center is not the career goal, but it may have to be a filler.  The interview in Tulsa tomorrow pays quite a bit more than the job in OKC.  OKC pays $11.79 whereas Tulsa pays $15.  OKC would start on 10/29 and I don't know about Tulsa.

If I have no luck this week on the job search, I do have two career fairs/hiring events I can go to next Tuesday, October 21.  One much bigger than the other.  The bigger job fair in SE Tulsa is advertised to have over 700 jobs available.  The other job fair in SW Tulsa is company-specific so it is a lot smaller in scope.

What did you learn in Bible Study today, Bushie?

We were in Mark 14:1-26, looking at the woman who spent a year's wages on perfume to anoint Jesus' head in preparation for his burial and the disciples' response to the perfume.  We also looked at how from that event that Judas Iscariot went out and start the process of betraying Jesus.  We saw that God demands and rewards complete and total submission to Him such as what the woman was doing.  We then looked at parallels between the disciples' reaction with today's Christians and society in general.  This just in: the world has not changed much...

Bushie, out of curiosity, since you left ONG, have there been any years in which you were in the black?  That is, your total income for the year was enough to pay for all your expenses that year?  Because you've had several jobs (particularly in 2011, I think) that lasted for several months, so I'm curious if those months of employment has ever been enough to offset the times of unemployment.  Or have you been going farther and farther into the red ever since ONG?

October 2010 - May 2012 were very good times and I did get out from under my parents' dole for a brief time before the crap hit the fan after Dell.

Yes, to put it simply.  Plus, I hadn't seen these men in over 3 weeks because of all that's gone on and the time I've been at my parents'.

EDIT:  They're both important and they both have their time and place, but there is no harm in having a Bible Study after hours.  I don't have to be searching from sun up to sun down.  I have applied to all I can apply to today, anyway, and scored that one interview for tomorrow.

It doesn't seem like Bushie's Bible study is teaching him very theologically sophisticated interpretations.
