Quite a few of them this year. Note: This does not mean there are not third parties, it simply means the other major party isn't challenging the incumbent or the other person running.

Senate:

AL-Sen

House:

AL-4 AL-5 AL-7 AZ-7 AZ-8 AR-3 CA-4 CA-5 CA-17 CA-19 CA-20 CA-25 CA-28 CA-34 CA-35 CA-40 CA-44 CA-51 FL-4 FL-12 FL-13 FL-14 FL-21 FL-25 FL-27 GA-3 GA-4 GA-5 GA-8 GA-11 GA-13 GA-14 LA-2 LA-3 LA-4 MA-1 MA-2 MA-4 MA-5 MA-7 MA-8 MS-2 NY-5 NY-6 NY-8 NY-9 NY-10 NY-13 NY-14 NY-15 NY-16 NY-22 NC-9 OH-7 OK-1 PA-14 PA-15 PA-18 SC-1 SC-4 TN-1 TX-3 TX-4 TX-5 TX-8 TX-9 TX-11 TX-20 TX-21 TX-28 TX-29 TX-30 TX-33 VA-3 VA-6 VA-9 WA-4

Note: This does not mean there are not third parties, it simply means the other major party isn't challenging the incumbent or the other person running.

All in all 77 house seats and 1 senate seat are uncontested by either Democrats or Republicans. That's 17.7% of house seats and 16.6% of all races this cycle. 42 out of the 77 uncontested house seats come from the south, and 43 of 78 of all uncontested seats come from the south. That's 54.5% and 55.1% respectively. 27.6% of all house seats in the South are uncontested. That's comparable to 13 or 12.7% in the West (all of which come from top-two states of CA and WA), 1 or 1.1% in the Midwest, and 21 or 24.1% in the Northeast. 54.5% (or 42/77) of the uncontested house seats are held by democrats.

7/12 have two members of the same party and 5/12 just have a third party contesting them. The one in Washington has two republicans.

In that case, what about Kansas senate?

Technically, Taylor is still on the ballot, he's just not running a campaign and will get a very low %. Alaska-Gov though could be considered uncontested by my definition.
