If Sarah Palin was elected VP and became President herself in March 2009... how different would the country and world be? How would she have reacted to events like the financial crash, high unemployment, the deficit and debt ceiling, healthcare, the BP oil spill, green movement in Iran, the Arab Spring, cap and trade (which she supported in 2008), immigration reform, taxes, Iraq and Afghanistan, Russia, China, Pakistan, finding Osama bin Laden, infrastructure, stimulus, race issues, being the first female President, etc.

Like all Republican presidents, she would have been absorbed into the GOP establishment.  It would have just been another 4 years of Bush.  Any Republican elected in 2008 would have just been 4 more years of Bush.

Obama's administration, without ACA and Dodd-Frank, is 4 more years of Bush....

I don't think she would have made Bin Laden a high priority like Obama did. So even if they still found that complex it may not have gone anywhere.

The BP oil spill probably wouldn't have happened due to the Butterfly Effect. Although something equally disasterous very well could have.

I don't really know what to say for the others. Probably not very well.
