This is a horrific matchup for Republicans, and Jindal would make it worse throughout the campaign by ... opening his mouth.

I'm pretty sure Hillary would win Louisiana against Jindal before she won Montana, West Virginia, or Kentucky. He's toxic there.

Do you guys think Jindal would have face xenophobia and racism due to his Indian background ?

I know blacks are hated more than Indians, but he is still brown with a foreign sounding last name. You may see Hillary sweeping back the south due to depressed southern white turnout.

He might very well suffer from racism due to his background, but it's a bit unclear as to how much of an issue it would be on the electoral map.

The margins in solidly Republican Southern states would probably be unusually small, but at the very least, he should manage to win a handful of Southern locales, even if he lost his home state. I think that white turnout could be low, but not to such an extent that Jindal couldn't scrape by in a few Southern states like Texas, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.

It would be surprising that Southern white turnout is low with a Jindal presidency when some of the Southerners wanted Mitt Romney to pick Jindal as VP in 2012 to beef up Southern and evangelical turnout/support. That remains to be seen.

I think Jindal would still take most of Romney states except NC, maybe MO he's not Cruz or Paul.

If Jindal can't win Louisiana, then he's in big trouble.
