An under discussed and competitive race that I think needs more attention. Lean Ducey.

If I had to guess I'd say the Republican, but because no one seems to be interested in polling the state it's impossible to say really.

It will be very fitting for a state like Arizona to have a Douchey governor.

how cute.

Ducey. His opponent is doing okay but undecideds are high, and if that 2012 Senate race is anything to go by, Ducey will get a good chunk of those undecideds, enough to win clearly if not unimpressively.

Wow, this race has been quiet. I almost forgot there even was a Gubernatorial Race for Arizona.

Ducey.

Ducey. I imagine this race will follow a similar trajectory of the Flake/Carmona one in 2012, probably with Ducey doing a bit better because of the political climate.

The last non-rassy or yougov poll here was tied at 35 (PPP) and back in late August, why is nobody polling this?

I was wondering the same thing. Politics is run by the elites in NYC and Washington, so I guess its easy for the media to ignore 'those western states' (even though Arizona has a significant population). Just my guess.

Ducey I guess, but it's hard to say without any polls.

The complete and total lack of polls for this race is really annoying.

Ducey. This race sort of reminds of AZ-Sen 2006; even though we have a little bit of slight optimism for an upset here, I wouldn't count on our chances here, and really wouldn't put a lot of money into this race.

Ducey is the Palin/Cruz candidate and is a sociocon so there's room for a gaffe and DuVal could win this, but Ducey has a lot of money and DuVal is far from the strongest candidate AZ Dems could have gotten. Also, if I remember correctly, one of the old PPP polls from here earlier this year had undecided's in this race saying they voted for Romney by a 31-19 margin, so even though it's tight now, a lot of undecided's will come home to Ducey.

Still don't know why Carmona didn't run. He would be winning.

Until about 2 weeks from election day when Republicans realize Carmona is a Democrat and go back to voting for the party line. Though, then again, Doug Ducey is certainly no Jeff Flake.
