If you like spades, why not go all the way and graduate to bridge?
I play bridge (and about 20 other games), but it has certain flaws such as a cumbersome and illogical scoring schedule, the bidding taking precedence over the actual play of the cards and no nullos/misere game meaning too many hands are unplayable, so I will never be a bridge-only cardplayer. Furthermore most bridge players take themselves waay too seriously for my taste.
