At this point they're gonna need to do well in Edinburgh as well as a landslide in Glassgow.

Moray may be the only place left Yes wins, if they get even that.

Still, Glasgow is of course interesting.

Maps going to look funny.

No: 55.90%
Yes: 44.10%

Outside of a huge margin in the largest population centers, this is over.

BBC Scotland live results.  BBC's site updates quickly after that, as does The Guardian.

To repeat what others have said: Rabbits will need to be pulled out of hats in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and also, the Yes margins in the likes of Moray and Perth & Kinross will need to be large (should these SNP friendly areas vote Yes). Alex Salmond must be fuming at the moment!

Lanarkshire only narrows it to 55.02-44.98. Margin of ~165,000.

I'm calling this for No now. Glasgow/Edinburgh is highly unlikely to overturn this.

Also, with the result up in Perth & Kinross, I'm calling this for NO. Rule Britannia!

Mung Beans, you are adding literally nothing productive to this thread with that post.

Remember that Tories are uniformly No; Perth & Kinross still has a lot of those.

Perth and Kinross was a substantial loss for the Yes camp.  The rumor is that Glasgow is coming soon and it is a Yes win.
