This is exciting. It must be strange for our Scottish members that half the forum is more emotionally invested in the outcome than they are, though.
That's because most of us come from places that have no logical reason for secession what so ever Tongue. It is very exciting from an international perspective, and most Americans like Scotland, be it because of Braveheart or their own ancestry.

Weird how we all still seem to hate Quebec though.

All right guys, see you tomorrow, hopefully (but probably not) to comment on the bright future of this brand new country. Smiley
Regardless of the results, Scotland is the winner!

Turnout figure after turnout figure after turnout figure... sheesh... Are they actually going to read any of the ballots or are they just going to count them?
Clearly they are making time for MI5 to stuff the ballots
I love that emoticon.

The only good news for YES so far is, that Glasgow - supposed to be narrow -might go to them clearly with 54.
I sure hope that is true.

It sure would be funny if all of you guys declaring this to be over would wake up with a Yes victory Tongue.

Doesn't matter though, because you're right.

If they can't even count their votes in a timely manner, how could they even run their own country?
You're joking, right?

No has won. But the discussion of constitutional reforms on BBC is very interesting. Scotland is going to win, regardless of the results.

Can we make Forest Whitaker King of Scotland regardless of what happens? I love that movie.

Come on, this movie was awesome!

Very underwhelming. There's no way Yes can make it up.
