Does the Mideast Government have the Constitutional authority to authorize or prevent deportations and immigration related detention?

I would sign this if passed, but I think we ought to ensure it's constitutional.

The Midwest is currently passing a law which would in prevent deportation of Illegal Immigrants in some cases. I assume we too have this authority?

In the very least, this bill will stop Mideast officials and police from playing any part in the activities above relating to detention and deportation.

I move to strike sections 3-7.

3 is unnecessarily restrictive. I don't find it reasonable to treat a 15 year old that leniently.

On 4-7, well...just no. No compromise will be possible here.

I judge such an amendment to be unfriendly and thus unfortunately I will not accept it.

I obviously recognize that I'm not going to get anywhere on the abortion part, as everyone in power in this region likely supports this.

That said, I will request a vote on eliminating Section 3, as this is something that I believe has no majority in this Assembly, and would be a dangerous thing to pass.

Actually, you're right; Section 3 is absolutely baloney because I've misphrased it. It was supposed to only apply to illegal immigrants, which I didn't specify properly. I am also changing the age slightly.

I will now amend my own bill without the need for a vote.

The full bill, as amended, is now up for a final vote.

You have up to 24 hours (with the usual caveats).
