Instead of being dogmatic and saying Reagan or Haig, I'd say Goldwater Jr. for his chance to make a dynasty.

I prefer Goldwater, but Haig is evil enough to make things interesting.

I am not shocked about the replacement of Haig. I know I am going by OTL too much, but he does not seem like a trust-able man.
