The current Senate rules and procedure are so byzantine as to be impossible for the orderly working of the Senate. These rules would streamline and simplify Senate procedure for the better. If it's alright with the Vice President, I would like to turn advocacy here over to the person responsible for originally writing them, Secretary of International Affairs Averroes Nix.

Now that Nix has returned to the Senate (and what a glorious day that is!), would he like to take this over or at least be a co-sponsor?

Nix's amendments are friendly, and I'll let him be the judge on the one offered by Yankee.

Is the PPT going to open a final vote on this, or keep ignoring it?

Can't you open a vote as Dean of the Senate, Yankee?

At long last, we have done it. Thanks to Nix for writing this up and thanks to all those that participated in the debate and made this a reality.
