Residents of Williamsburg do!

I'm not sure if you can really make a "no true hipster" argument here either, considering that like 90% of the stuff written about hipsters references Williamsburg as the archetypical "hipster neighborhood."

I am well aware that hipsters prefer to live in our nation's most expensive urban neighborhoods. My point is that they are not usually the ones earning the money to sustain their way of life.

I agree. And he just made me want to move to NYC now. Smiley A thought that, strange as it might seem, hasn't really hit me before.

Georgia would be much better off if it were called Kartvelia.

Also he was drinking from a coconut at the food fair! I did that too. Also, Saakashvili has gotten fat.

Williamsburg is yuppie now.  The hipsters have decamped to Bushwick, because, as a wise man once said, the rent is 2 damn high.

Sort of.  Northside with all the condo buildings on the water and the nicer stuff around McCarren Park, fine, that is yuppy in terms of residents.  However, if you go there, you see tons of hipsters either working or hanging out there.  And, east Williamsburg is still a mix of hipsters, Puerto Ricans and young professionals.  It's one of the most diverse neighborhoods anywhere.

Of course I was simplifying for effect.

The real estate industry is selling things in East W'burg as "Bushwick" now, which is all sorts of crazy.  And of course there is South Williamsburg, which is a whole 'nother kettle of coconuts.

"Williamsburg" is one of the larger neighborhoods in NYC.  It has a wider range of ethnicities, housing stock, prices, etc. than people realize.  Obviously Mikheil is in the rich part.

Seems like happy life. I'm sure Georgians are happy too, not having him around anymore.

Please no one else move to Brooklyn, it's costly enough to live here as it is, thanks!

Governor in the Ukraine now? Weird.

It's damn cheap compared to San Francisco.
