Better than you'd expect from him on this issue. Has to shed his tough on crime rep after what happened under his nose during bridgegate probably. If he's serious about this, he is trying to woo me back from rand. Either is acceptable, but I feel like Christie will govern differently from the way he campaigns on this issue. Hope I'm wrong.

Agreed.  I'd rather go with someone I feel might actually feel this away about this issue, as opposed to just saying he does.  And, frankly, I feel like Rand might actually attempt to govern with this thought in mind.  Not sure about Christie.

politicians sure love the disease model.  makes them appear compassionate while keeping the DEA and correctional officers' unions and treatment centers rolling in dough.
