The actor who became POTUS was Ronald Reagan. He was a republican. However, most of the actors/actresses are democratic. So, a democratic actor/actress could be the POTUS. Make your choice.

Clooney is the only one I think I'd be able to remotely take seriously.

Which one of them would appoint truly objective interpreters of law to the Supreme Court, irrespective of litmus tests about campaign finance, abortion, gay marriage, etc.? Which one of them believes the Court needs more people like Oliver Wendell Holmes, Benjamin Cardozo, and Hugo Black, rather than more people like William Brennan, Thurgood Marshall, Ruth B. Ginsburg, or Sonia Sotomayor?

None of them has remotely close enough management/political experience, so Ruffalo by default, because he is amazing on the issues.

Funny, half of them are more palatable than Hillary.  3/4s of them more so than Trump.

(I had no idea who the Rhimes lady was and had to look her and Mark Ruffalo up, had heard the name, but had no idea what he did)

Tom Hanks would come across the best, I think.
