It's hard to say; depends when, if ever, actual American/NATO/Iranian/Arab League troops go up against them. There's been lots of talk about this, but it still seems to be something planned rather than in the works. The defeat of ISIS on the ground, unfortunately, will probably neither terminate the organization, nor will the region itself moderate.
