I would obviously vote No. And if it didn't pass in Mississippi, it isn't passing here. It'll probably fail 60/40. The similar measure in Colorado will obviously fail massively (like it did in '10)

No, and no. Every time the voters in a state have been asked to outright ban abortion, it's been rejected by wide margins, even in the most conservative states. Obviously Mississippi with 58% in 2011, but also 60% in Wyoming in 1994. South Dakota twice voted in consecutive elections to keep abortion legal.

I take no position on the morality of abortion. To each his own. But I support legal abortion for the same reason Ronald Reagan signed the bill to legalize abortion in California: if it's illegal, women are going to resort to unsafe, unhealthy, and dangerous methods that will endanger their lives. For that reason, it must always be legal.

I would obviously vote no because I don't believe in this flimsy idea of everyone having an inherent right to life and furthermore preference the right of the woman already alive to choose whether or not she will have a child over the 'right' of the state to force her to carry a child to term that she may not be able to feed or properly clothe and that the state won't bother lifting a finger to help her feed, shelter, or clothe said child.

The right to choose should be allowed at any stage of pregnancy, without any questions asked. It should be performed free of charge and the stigma associated with getting an abortion should be vigorously combated with a public information campaign. Anti-abortion terrorists who bomb clinics and kill doctors (and women who get abortions) in an effort to intimidate women and assert patriarchal dominance over them should be tried for hate crimes and sentenced to death if found guilty.

The ND pro-life lobby is kind of pointless. There is literally only one place in the state that performs abortions and its in Fargo. If ND effectively banned it it could just move across the river to Moorhead. This also means there is extreme inconvenience to access to abortion in most of the state already, some places would require asuch of a five hour drive one way to get one. But that's not an issue of the law or politics.

In fairness there are only like two hospitals in ND that are any good. I know people from around Jamestown who prefer to drive to Bismark or Fargo for medical emergencies.

Yes, I would vote for it.  But I'm under no impressions it will pass.  If we couldn't get religious, ultra-conservative, pro-life Mississippi to pass it, then I don't see how any state would.
