The objective of the current bombing campaign is to accelerate the destruction of the Islamic State. If the IS were to disband tomorrow, only to be replaced by an Islamist state that
doesn't have a policy of wanton rape, murder, and slavery, then the campaign would have been a success.
We aren't trying to fix all the problems in the Middle East with bombs. We're trying to destroy an organization that doesn't deserve to inhabit this planet.
