Yes in NYC and RI.  Noticed a lot of Somalis (and Ethiopians) in Vegas too, mostly cabbies.

One of my uncles coworkers in Vero, though it was only for a few seconds when my uncle and I returned (he works as a trucker) to deliver a haul. He told me on the drive out that he goes out to lunch with the guy every once and a while and that he was born and raised in Somalia.

Nope. I do have a favorite Ethiopian restaurant though. Abyssinia on Poplar Avenue is very very tasty.

Probably, but I don't remember.  Our African imports tend to be Nigerian and like most recent immigrants that aren't dicks because of their religion, they are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

I guess not, but I have seen a few Africans around here (most of them are likely from Nigeria, which is the biggest group here).

But I cannot rule out that Somalis are here as well.

In general, there are hardly any black people where I live though.

But, there are a lot of Syrians, Afghanis, Iraqis (= asylum seekers) and Arab tourists.

On 1 January 2014, only 230 people with Somali citizenship lived in the state of Salzburg (most of them probably in the City of Salzburg and not in my home town).

Also on 1 January 2014, in Zell am See (where I live), only 35 people out of 10.000 had citizenship from an African country.
