So the following email came in a few hours ago, and after glancing at it, I realized something: these numbers (if accurate) may provide a fairly good idea as to how much Nunn will bring in in Q2. I was hoping some others would scrounge through their own recent emails from Senate candidates (or keep an eye out in the coming days) for any fundraising emails that provide goals or list current amounts raised for the quarter through one source or another.
Just for simplicity's sake, we'll assume that "small donations" are equivalent to unitemized contributions, and that 90% of unitemized contributions are coming via online sources. Nunn raised $829,000 in unitemized contributions in Q2. I'd say meeting their outlined goal is realistic, and I'd also assume that the pace of itemized contributions and PAC money has at least kept up with the rate of growth of unitemized contributions (1.47x the amount in Q2). In summary, this would give us roughly $5,070,000 for Q3.
