You've got no viable Labour leader who isn't associated with the last recession and won't for a while.

I don't think the referendum will happen; Labour are still likely to win the next election.

On that note, Nicola Sturgeon has taken over as SNP leader today. Stewart Hosie, MP for Dundee East has been elected Deputy.

When does she become First Minister?

True... I'd imagine that this sort of thing happens in legislatures and courts the world over; it can get quite boring in there.

At least the Scots have something, rather than celebrating an aged german monarch who's family should of been deposed after WW1

Out of eight great-grandparents, only one is German (Queen Mary, George V's wife).  Also - Albert died before Germany came into formal existence.

As, this 'argument' raises its head again. So, by your logic, Chuka Umunna is Nigerian, Sajid Javid is Pakistani, Nigel Farage is French and Malcolm Rifkind is in fact Lithuanian?

Yeah that's exactly what I think you know. I'm actually that stupid, I really appreciate you bringing this political information to light

There's a reason they changed their name during WW1

A German surname does not make one German.

As a graduate myself, I'd rather not pay for it for the rest of my life. My student loan is enough.

These groups seem to think the British government is Lord Voldemort or something; using the Imperius curse to make people go to Syria and become terrorists.
