I think it is poorly crafted, considering I don't think law recognizes marriage of any kind in Atlasia, though I may be misstating that.

But just like last year on the abortion bill, which I also thought poorly crafted and executed, I must state again that it is necessary for regional elections to matter and that includes the ability for regional officer holders to fail and to do stuff controversial to drive elections. Like shua said, part of the reason why only these such bills are taking up that roll, is because they have no areas of complete responsibility save for their budget, and even there, they are often doubling up federal spending areas.

Regions are free to recognize marriages, though if they do so they must recognize same-sex marriages within that.
