Two that immediately come to mind for me:

-Cap'n Jazz - Analphabetapolotology: I deleted the track "Bluegrassish" which is terrible and the only weak spot in what is otherwise a virtually flawless LP. If forced to judge the Cap'n Jazz LP by its cumulative average, then it's probably around a 92/100 or so. Without that track it'd be at least a 97/100.

-Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree: I deleted Dance, Dance. Same way I have no Fall Out Boy tracks after this album.

I'm pretty OCD about my iTunes list and quite the album completionist so none.  Maybe I tinkered around with some Beatles albums to replicate the UK releases, but that's it.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, there's a lot of albums where the torrent or CD release will include "bonus tracks" that were not meant to be part of the album, and I always make sure to put them under a separate album listing.

Nothing significant. I've only got about 3 songs from Panic! At The Disco's Pretty Odd, same with All Time Low's So Wrong, It's Right despite owning both CDs. I also axed the interlude sketches from Gym Class Heroes' As Cruel As School Children. Other than that, I mostly put the entire album on iTunes if I have the CD.

Would you blot out a section of a painting you otherwise admired?

This. I either have one or two songs from an album (generally that were released as singles) or I have the whole thing. I have enough respect for art to understand that the artist put a particular set of tracks in a particular order on an album for a reason and when you arbitrarily toss some out it kind of misses the point.

I don't do that, but "Enjoy Your Day" from Alkaline Trio's Goddammit is a sh**tstain on an otherwise great album

Oh sure, I do this often.  The last track of one of my favorite albums - Rubber Soul - is "Run for Your Life."  Arguably a brilliant song, but not one I can usually enjoy from a lyrical perspective.   And there are a few tracks on the White album which are pretty much worthless.

If I only have a computer copy of an album I wont do this of course.
