Just sent in my absentee:

Senate: Jeff Bell-R (lol)
House: Frelinghuysen-R
Assorted down-ballot County and Town officials-All R

Question 1: Yes
Question 2: No (reluctantly)
Morris Cty Question: Yes

Not that Booker wouldn't have won, but it always annoys me how weak NJ's Republican Senate candidates are, especially given how moderate (even liberal) most of the state's Republicans are, and the large funding base they should have to draw on.

I voted today.

US Senate - Pat Roberts (R)

House of Representatives - Lynn Jenkins (R)

Governor/Lt. Governor - Brownback/Colyer (R)

Secretary of State - Jean Schodorf (D)

I voted Republican on everything else except for State House, where the GOP candidate is crazy. Voted "No" on almost all jobs and voted "Yes" on allowing raffles in the state.

Sad When did you jump on the Brownback train?

I voted straight D for Gov, Senate, House, Commissioner and Board of Regents  and straight NO on state questions 67,68,104 and 105. I voted YES on all county questions. They included continued funding of a jail and a new animal shelter.

Good Monday afternoon! I woke up feeling refreshed and headed to my local neighboring town's city hall at 1130 hours to cast my ballot in the 2014 Midterm elections! Frustrated with the cantankerous Republican Party, I opted for a mixture of Democrats, Greens, abstentions, and....technically yeah 1 or 2 Republican candidates (only because the Dem was convicted of fraud and/or not endorsed by anyone).

US Senate: Emily "spicybrown" Sanchez
US House: Pete P. Gallego

Governor: Wendy R. Davis
Lt. Governor: Leticia Van de Putte
Attorney General: Sam Houston
Comptroller: Mike Collier
Land Commissionner: John Cook
Ag Com: Kenneth Kendrick
RR Com: Steve Brown

Supreme Court: 3D, 1G
Court of Criminal Appeals: 2G, 1D

State Legislature: D (Senate), L...sorry. (House)
District Judge: 13D, 1R, 2 abstain
Criminal District Attorney: Nicholas "Nico" Lahood

County Judge: Nelson Wolff
County Courts: 17D, 1R, 2 abstain

Proposition 1: No

Time now for a delicious Whataburger lunch before retiring to my apartment at 1740 and enjoy the Houston Texans take on the Pittsburgh Steelers! Tomorrow is a busy jobhunting day, so I must get in this leisure time now.

I "helped" my handicapped grandfather send in his absentee ballot.. Hawkins (G) for Gov, the Green nominee for comptroller, Schneiderman (on the Working Families line) for AG, Israel on the WF line, and more or less straight WF after thant, D when there was no WF.  I didn't feel like dumb-ass write-ins.

on the propositions, "yes" on the electronic law thing, "no" on the $2B in bonds to buy smartboards. there were  5 props total, which escape me.

Voted earlier this week. Straight D, including on the unlabeled races. (Huzzah research!) No on the town rule changes (I generally hate my city council due to numerous issues including it being kind of full of racists and so generally oppose their efforts and part of this rule change seemed absurd), and yes on all the local funding items (parks, mental hospital, ect). Only nominally important race is the governor race and big K is probably going to get reelected anyway. My local house district can be competitive in a strong dem year but... well yeah. That's not this year.

In case you didn't see my post in the other of many 'I voted' threads floating right now, I voted the Democratic ticket minus for State Rep, where I voted for the Republican. Yes to all five questions.

I voted by mail at the end of September - just noticed this thread, though! Wink

I voted a straight Democratic ticket.  For every race that didn't have a Democrat on the ballot (these were all local offices), I wrote in members of my family for laughs.

Amendment A (Prohibits any increase in the state income tax) - NO
Amendment B (Allows the legislature to impose additional reckless driving penalties and allocate such revenue to the Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund) - YES
Referendum 1 (Extends an ad-valorem tax credit to privately operated college dormitories) - NO

Mailed my ballot in today. Unfortunately I'm in VA so there wasn't really anything fun to vote for.

Candidates for Senate were: 1.)Barrack Obama 2.) a yankee carpetbagger scumbag wheeler-dealer enron lobbyist, and 3.)a Democrat plant ... so I wrote in Jim Webb.

Robert Hurt for Congress

No on Constitutional Amendment allowing a new tax loophole

Yep ... my absentee ballot totally matters.

I took advantage of early voting this Saturday. I didn't feel like driving an hour to my home count and then an hour back just to vote.

As much as I hate straight ticket voting, the candidates I chose happened to be all Republican. I was tempted to vote for Hunt and Swafford, though. I also wrote-in a candidate for my state rep as a big middle finger to the guy currently in the seat.
