I don't want to say "best" because obviously a lot of unfortunate and unpleasant things have happened, but it's certainly been one of the most captivating in recent memory, at least since Russ Powers was introduced.

This is like The Good Wife's creative resurgence this year... Emmy is only around the corner.

Despite my role as Executive Producer/Update hype man, I voted "undecided" on this one.

I think the fact that Bushie has just revealed that he believes that Christ will be returning in 7-10 years is pretty fascinating stuff though.

Much better than some of the previous seasons, but I still miss when Bushie had a lady in his life, especially ones like Tiffanye and Susan. I hate Allison dumped him. I had high hopes for Jeffison.

Captivating.  The last arch was genius.  Bushie with the cold the night before the meeting.  Could it be the boss had no intentions of firing Bushie, and then he goes and just doesn't show up?  It would be classic Update.  In the end, Bushie battles through and the meeting goes as expected.  It's like the anti-twist.  Reminds me of some of those moments in Breaking Bad that you just knew were coming, but a wrinkle was introduced suddenly to throw you off.

Bushie's demented optimism is amazing to me.  he interpreted his getting fired as "another victory" because the boss went about it in a nice way; even during my greatest victories I harbor a sense of crushing defeat.
